I found this site this morning and decided to join up.

I'm Julie and I have a 12 year old son Zac and we live in sunny Brisbane. I'm currently off work at the moment, but planning on going back in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks for all your friendly welcomes!! I have never joined an online group before that is so welcoming, so it makes a lovely change. I think I will be around for a long time to come. It's also great to see lots of Queenslanders as well.

Scarlett....The weather has been pretty great the last few days hasn't it, but I'm really looking forward to winter this year.

Louise....my son not only looks cheeky but also acts like it too...lol Normally I do admin work, usually for Chartered Accountants, but for the past 13 months I worked in a finance section of a state govt dept in the city. It was a very stressful job though and being a single mother, it was just taking me away from my son too much so I left about 8 weeks ago. I have really enjoyed the break but I'm keen to start back to work soon but I'm planning on just working part-time for the next couple of years until Zac is a bit older.


Sheree....have to agree with you there. I can't wait for it to cool down even more. Roll on winter!!!

Floria....you're just up the road....it's just a very very long road...lol
