Soap or body wash?

Which do you ladies prefer and which brand do you use?

I use body wash - I think it is a Johnson's Body Wash...can't remember the exact details and am feeling too lazy to go look...but it comes in a nice big pump bottle (and has refill packs!), its not expensive and it isn't a girly smelling one, so hubby uses it too :)

I don't like using soap cos it makes my skin go all dry and itchy :(

Soap, I always feel cleaner. I don't have a particular brand that I use. At the moment it is palmolive, before that was the body shop. I change brands a lot with soap.

Soap, i buy a lot of the homemade ones but if i run out it's normally Palmolive

I alternate between "Wrights Coal Tar" soap and "Pears" soap.Love the smells. I use a hand wash pump of "Pears" liquid soap. Do not use body wash.

I use sorboline lotion in the shower cause I'm allergic to soap (it makes me itch something shocking).

I swap between Lux and Pears.
I don't use body wash because for some reason I think it takes more time. *shrug*

i use both.
i was using a bar of soap this winter and then my skin started to feel very itchy, so i switched to body wash, which hasn't been making my skin itch. so who knows! i jump back and forth. :)

I use Dove hypo-allergenic soap it's the only thing that doesn't make me itchy.

That's good, seems like allot of people like soaps. I use soap as well occasionally i will use body wash. I love the dove soaps, i find those don't dry out my skin.

soap or body wash on those lacy loofah thingys exept they unravel really quickly.

I use the Olive Oil soap from Woolies. Very pure. Don't use body wash at all.

I did use soap for many years but then I saw a renovation show that mentioned how much fat residue soap leaves on baths and shower screens and in the plumbing and that liquid soaps contain far less of the fat. The fat is there for the soap to retain its shape etc.

That and an experience where a visitor used my soap - even tho I placed a lovely new bar on the towels on the guest bed.

There was my lovely own personal soap covered in someones hairs! Grose !

So from then on it was the more hygenic liquid soap plunge bottles for my home !

I use some hippie brand of soap. Lemongrass scented. It's so good you want to eat it.

Dosn't taste any good though. Yes I have tried it, couldn't help myself. LMAO

I use the local supermarket home brand. not because its cheap, but because its the only one I like the smell of! lol

Ive looked all over for a nice fruity smelling one but couldnt find any, except the homrbrand, which smells of raspberry and pomegranate (it makes u wanna eat it!)

Body wash, soap makes my skin feel like cardboard.

I use body wash for my girls too and the liquid soap for hand washing.

i use liquid soap aswell! I dont like the idea of soap bars, alot of bacteria breeds in the cracks that form.. just gross!

I like Lux body washes, but also use soap. With soap I like to get natural ones, and ones that smell of lemons or strawberries. If for some reason I get supermarket soap I go for dove usually. I looove noice smelling soaps and coming out of the shower feeling fresh and delicious LOL

i do feel my skin is a lot softer if I use a body wash not so dry and tght.. I tend to aviod the too smelly sweet ones bought the last one from aldi did'nt smell too bad..

I use both soap and body wash ,, what ever takes my fancy when I reach for it lol. and brands change all the time as well, depending what is on special.. but I dont use nasty cheap ones ewwwwww.....

I use Dove unscented soap..I used to use any good p.h. balanced unscented body wash but it got too exxy..I break out in a rash if I use scented soaps or washes.
