What is the best program for weight loss? I want to lose from 20-25 pounds. I had planned to do this at the end of the summer. Got distracted and can't remember which weight loss plans I had found. Would like suggestions from any Yahoo people.

Hi There. I am not a person who uses a weightloss program. I prefer to educate myself about food and how the body works, and take it from there. But another factor is how much you weigh now. The approach to take might differ depending on your weight. For example, if you weigh 300lbs and want to lose 25, its different to if you weigh 150lbs and want to lose 25lbs, especially in the type of exercise you want to do. It also depends on if you want to lose fat or tone up, and on your fitness goals.

I'd definately recommend a really healthy diet (with a few treats).. and lots of exercise. Try and do as much as you can.. I try and do 30 minutes CARDIO, 3 times a week. It really works! :-) Good luck!!

Healthy eating is the go for me. But I find that exercise 3-4 times a week really makes it easier, a 30 minute work out at my gym. I find if I skip I can pile it all back on straight away so have to keep myself disciplined.

Yes, I have lost weight, just through healthy eating, walking, running, and weight training. You just have to be motivated but it works. And it is free(except for the food, LOL).
