Hey all...
this is probably a thread for the health and beauty section really but does anyone else here Really hate strong smelling mens body sprays??
Two guys just came into the office here at work and they had both had on sprays that were so strong smelling now 10 min after they have gone my office still reeks. I actually have a headache from it and I have not stopped sneezing since they left.
It things like Lynx and those silly body sprays masquerading as deoderant where the smell is just so overpowering you can smell nothing else. My BF does not wear anything remotely like it and boy am I glad. If he wants nice smelling he wears a mens perfume, they are nowhere near as strong. I have to go outside I think I'm getting high off the fumes!

They must have over done it on the spraying. Either that or they are wearing really horrid aftershave.
John uses a Lynx spray, the chocolate one, and it's hardly overpowering. :dk:

My boy uses Lynx.. I hate the stuff, because he does overspray....tried to get him on to a nice aftershave, no luck.

I've opened the doors and turned the aircon off trying to clear the room but I can still feel it in my nose. Maybe it's a young guy thing, make women feel like they are drowning in scent and they really will swoon just like in the TV ads.
I can't stand my boyfriend's aftershave that his mother bought him, it gives me a headache... but when he matches his Lynx body spray and body wash he smells divine!

I think it is a young mans thing.
Ds and his friends are very strong when they are all dressed up to go out.
I laugh with mum and say they will send the girls away.

I would rather they wore too much than nothing at all ,some reak of BO.
Oh boy I am so glad to hear its not just me!
My neighbour and I share a stairwell. It doesnt matter how many hours before me that he has walked down the stairs - when I enter the stairwell his aftershave or deoderant or whatever totally reeks. I mean its so strong it burns my eyes, strips my throat and leaves me sneezing and coughing for hours.
I have not exactly been subtle about it - I have stuck notes to his door suggesting he wait till he is in his car before administering the poison - so only he has to suffer it.

LMAO oh the memories!
I think less is more of any scent, on men and women. Subtle is nice. When you can still smell it after they vacate the building - too much.

Thats hysterical LMAO
I can't get over this one guy who walked past me earlier this year when I was still living in the townhouse. I was in the pool at the front of the complexe and he was walking down the street and I could smell it on him for ages after he had walked past!

Same applies to body odour too really. :eww:
TBH I would rather smell overpowering deoderant than stinky armpits. Of course the optimum would be an anti-perspirant which is barely there and controls the sweating which causes the stink in the first place. :hehe:
Gin please!

I hate them all, and so many men seem to overdo it. That goes for womens scents too - why do they smell as though they bathed in the stuff?
I must admit I am extra sensitive as I only use cosmetics and perfumes that contain no petro-chemicals, parabens,no other harmful substances etc etc - the result being that I find all the common brands of cosmetics and perfumes smell dreadfull and strong to me.
