I have actually seen the posters around for that. Do you know what bands are actually going? Maybe there is a website - there usually is for those things

I know Sherbet are getting back together for the tour.

The tours not coming to Tassie :crying: :crying:

I just did a search for the countdown tour and found out some more names for the tour.

"Sherbet, the tour will also include Hush, John Paul Young, Leo Sayer, James Reyne, Mondo Rock, Jon English, the Chantoozies, Cheetah, Joe Dolce, Choirboys, Jo Jo Zep, Swanee, Renee Geyer and Paul Norton.

Also appearing with a sizzling hot, house band are Alex Smith from Moving Pictures, Shane Howard from Goanna, Scott Carne from Kids In The Kitchen, James Freud & Sean Kelly from the Models, Brian Canham from Pseudo Echo, Dave Sterry from Real Life, Brian Mannix from Uncanny X-Men, Grace Knight and Bernie Lynch from the Eurogliders, Wendy Stapleton from Wendy & The Rocketts, Frankie J Holden & Wilbur Wilde from Ol’ 55, Stephen Cummings from The Sports and Billy Miller from The Ferrets."

We wanted to go as a family but the tickets were around $110 each, as much as I would of loved to see the show I think $440 for a night out is a bit out of reach for most people.

I have centre front row seats to the Perth concert. I really wanted to go to The Long Way To The Top concerts but wasnt financial enough that year - so I refuse to miss out this time !! Mum and I are going to relive our 70s and 80s youth together.

oh the website for the show and all the other Countdown stuff thats happening this year is www.countdown.com.au

Well mum and I thoroughly enjoyed the concert in Perth this week. Our front row seats werent central as promised by Burswood (but thats a very common problem with Burswood - false advertising basically) - we were to the far left of the stage.
I took some piccies and thought I would share some here:

Good Ole 55 !!

Ohhh a friend of mine was on the front row at the Newcastle and Brissy and Sydney shows - she said newcastle was the best cos the performers were all fresh and nervous !!!!

I hope the whole show has proven to be so popular that they do another one in a year or two. There were so many acts that could have joined the tour !!
