What's the best lip balm/salve for windburned lips?? I've just been using my Nivea lip balm which has a tint in it but I think it's making it worse rather than better. :(

Plain old vaseline works great :)
My favorite lip fixer is a really thick gloss that coats your lips well!

I can't recommend vaseline or Lucas's paw paw ointment as they both contain petro-chemicals, but I get a pure paw paw ointment from health food stores, the brand is Pure Nutraceuticals, and it is called PawPaw ointment with calendula.
I know I am always preaching pure cosmetics to people but I don't like the idea of putting petro-chemiclas or parabens on my skin.

I found some old Blistex but it doesn't seem to be doing any more than the Nivea was. I can't bear the thought of any lip gloss at the moment, the broken areas sting enough with my usual lip balm. It's not too bad this morning but then I haven't been out in the wind much as yet. :dk:
How far away is my freebie Cherie? :hehe:

I will have it about 14/15th July.. It is not a lip gloss Storm, so you are ok in that respect. It is a Lip Balm with Aloe and Sunscreen.
