Hi all!
Just wondering what Brand of Digital Camera you have. I'm thinking of buying one instead of using Kylie's all the time.
If you can let me know what you use, benefits and approx. price please.
Also, if there are any that I should NOT buy.
Thanks heaps.

My first Digital was Kodak. The software is easy to use and it can be set up to automatically download onto the computer. It takes great pics too. But it was only 2 megapixels. Images cant be blown up too far or they look all dotty.

Now I have a 5megapixel Canon. The images are great and I can have them the size I want. It's not like I want poster size images of the kids on the wall :) I use a memory card so it's only a matter of inserting the memory card into the computer for transfer. (but you have to have to slot for this on your computer).

My Canon cost $299 and the Kodak was about $250 (about 2 years ago). The Kodak is very easy to use and is still going strong. The girls now use it.

Well I'm in love with my kodak one at the moment. They are a bit expensive though, mum was lucky enough to get mine for cheap. I have the kodak easy share c310 and it's so easy to use. It has great quality too it's 4 mega pixels. With the easy share ones you can get a printing dock too and you can print you photo's on that and you don't need to hook it up with a computer. the dock that is btw.

Um dad has one and it's crap, I hated using it. The brand is vivitar, I'm not sure where he got it from but he's had it for ages. It's really stupid when taking photo's cause if you move the slightest bit the photo is blurry. And either the photo taker or whatever your taking a photo of.

Hope this helps out a bit. I don't have any experience with any other camera's but keep in mind what you want to take photo's of too.

Thanks ladies.
I want to take photos of everything from my dogs, cat, fish, people, flowers, sunsets and everything in between. Did you notice that the dogs came before people??? I really do have more photos of my animals than I have of people. Not that I'm obsessed with them!

I had thousands (still have) of my pets. My mum bought my first camera when I was 15. Now that I have kids I have millions of photos of my kids...when they grow up it will be grandkids...and no doubt pets...

i've got a kodak easy share camera, i think it's great, i can download the pictures pretty easily, i got mine with the printer dock, which also recharges the batteries while printing the photo's the package was on special for $199.00 from k-mart, they still have them on special every now and then, a good time to get them is when they have thier 20% off.

Thanks Leigh. I will check it out.

Thanks Helen. I was hoping not to spend hundreds of dollars so that's a really good idea.

We have just bought a new one Bev, it is a Kodak Z740 not cheap but I am very happy with it, also have a printer Doc and the printouts are very good quality. Prior to buying this one I had a much cheaper Kodak which I also still use and am also very happy with. I think you are best to have a look around and do a little homework. Also get one that you feel comfortable handling as some of them are a bit cumbersome.
