We only use our cellphone. We have a homephone but it is in the back and we never answer it.. and it is cordless.
We have a cordless, and our mobiles use both.

We have a cordless home phone but nobody can ever get us on it because the internet is always on (wonder why?) and broadband is not available out here in the boondocks.
Adam, Cal and I all have mobiles and are on a plan where we can speak to each other for free....works well for us!
Edited to add ....I am getting Mum set up on the same plan so she can contact me....always complaining she can't get through. LMAO

LMAO Patricia your poor mum :Hehe: It's so weird that you can't get broad band and I'm like 30 mins away and I can. Oh well maybe they'll make it available out there one day.
Sorry but the subject switch :Hehe:

I have a cordless but the girls use it more than me, for incoming calls. We use the Internet and MSN more than anything.
we have a wall phone with caller ID, the cordless & a moblie. Only use the wall when there is power out & to check who is calling. Use cordless99.9% of the time & mob 4 sms'ing mum

hmmm, need to be able to select multiple options.
We both have mobiles and we have cordless handsets for the landline. That said, I rarely use either, I'm not much of a phone person. I do sms a fair bit though, so I'm probably more of a mobile user. Relatively.

We do don't we
We have a cordless handsfree handset which is good & we both have mobiles.
I remember having the wall phone & a 15 metre long cord though so I could still walk around & do stuff :Hehe:

we have 4 handsets 1 in the bedroom, 1 in the kitchen , 1 by the putor and 1 in the games room. Ours are also intercoms so if we want someone we just ring a round until we find them saves on yelling

lol, Hugo is always pressing the intercom button on ours and it scares the pants off me because the intercom ring is so loud and 'alarming'

melly .. who are you looking into? i havent heard anything good about skype, apparently engine isnt bad and you buy everything needed at harvey norman .. but our isp has plans for it .. we're thinking of starting with the isp, for the basic convenience of starting out. then when we know more about it, looking into different services ..
Our home phone also has a cord. We do have a cordless, but just haven't gotten around to changing it over yet (I've only been here for 4 months:Hehe: ).
I tend to use my mobile a fair bit, I'm on one of those caps plans. It comes in handy for making the long distance calls to my bf in Sydney.
