All the posts lately about weight age whales and mermaids has me wondering what everyone does for exercise? I try to do a little everyday the operative word being try :hehe: But when i do i like to do a little on my exercise bike and then some weight bearing exercises and stretches maybe all up about an hour + i think house work adds up as exercise too.
Exercise i despise is walking and yoga.

I love swimming - but I hate there being anyone else anywhere near me whilst I'm doing it. Suffice it to say that I'm still trying to find that elusive pool.

Since my 'ahem' exercise routine has been put to shame I have to ask this of all you lovely ladies........
Q - Did you always exercise or were you told to by your doctor LMAO
I like to stay active one word of advice from my doc was go for a walk when becoming depressed and that helps clear the head.
I am not one of these fast walkers with cords and wires hanging out of their ears and things attached to their arms! LMAO

I walk for 30 minutes followed by a long run, every morning. I can usually do five kilometres. I also have a set of free weights to use at home so my muscle tone is good.

I tapdance on other people's last nerve... :D
I do a little walking, a little pilates and occasionally some swimming, but most of the time my exercise is putting on my iPod and dancing around my living room to Tina Turner, Donna Summer, Michael Jackson and the Bee Gees...

I do interval training on my spin cycle or stair running. I also love doing jillian Michaels DVD's - weights and cardio combined. The earlier i exercise the better i feel all day and the more organised i am. :)

Obviously not at the moment with my foot. Bit normally I either walk or do a excerise dvd. I have hotpants and a aerobic oz style one. Once my foot gets better I plan on
walking
weights
fitball
mini tramp

My exercise routine does vary. I used to be quite a gym junkie, but got burned out after I quit personal training. These days my main form of exercise is a dance class three nights a week.
I've never had such flat abs as I do now all from this dance class :>: - its amazing. I still do fairly heavy weights at the gym a couple of times a week, but its more to get out any frustrations, or to just make me feel good.
Since adding in the dance classes too I have dropped a lot of body fat too.

Its actually a pole dance class - just run like a regular fitness class. You just wear your normal gym gear and sneakers. I go with a couple of the girls and we have an absolute blast. REALLy hard work (if you want it to be) - but you find you just spend most of the time laughing and forgetting that you are actually working out. LMAO
