Well i am home after sitting 7 hours in a reclyner chair having a iron infusion & i have to say that the 4 Nursing sisters that worked in that room were the lovliest ladies i have ever come across in a hospital, they were very welcoming, friendly & a lot of fun.
They were all making conversation all day with the patients & singing & just so very nice in general even though they never stopped working the whole time, they were so busy there, the time seemed to go much faster then it has on the other times i have had infusions & there were an awful lot of people having Cemo & they were so comfy in that atmosphere.
There was even a man about 55 to 60 that was a volunteer & he was even fussing over everyone, he just could not do enough for the people there.
So thats my feel good story for today

Di I hope you forward your compliment to the hospital as well. As someone who does a job which is largely taken for granted, it's nice to get the recognition. :)

Having moved from Sydney to QLD living in the Beenleigh area.. Reason why we moved Bro has cancer.. Have to continue chemo at the mo he goes PA hos.. A fair hike.. We are talking three days treatment here in QLD opposed to NSW two days... You mentioned where you were having treatment and chemo was treated for patients.I dont understand he could be treated at a closer hos.. I guess if they Did not a ancologist specialist fair aenouugh.
