But their books magically appear on your desk.

I flicked through the brochure and thought a few things were worth buying though.

Like they have that ANEW clinical range out and some lippies that look quite good.

Does anyone here buy Avon and, if so, what are your thoughts? Worth the money or should I spend a fortune at the Launder counter in Myer?

I like their linen sprays,squirt a few sprays into the linen cupboard whenever I pass by and a generous spray into fresh sheets when the beds are changed.i cant help with the make up or perfume though haven't tried any however,some of the perfume samples in the books smell lovely.

I love the new Anew range..first and formost because I use it every day. Especially the new anti wrinkle products. I am slightly predudice about pricing though, because Avon is right up there with the big names these days. Oh and I am an Avon Rep as well. They have a new 24ct gold Lipstick that looks very pretty, I will give Moc a little sample this week..
Both Moc and Jen use Avon..maybe they will comment.

The Ultra Color Rich lipstick is very creamy and feels more like a lip balm than a lipstick which I really like. There's also a moisturiser I like but it's not appearing in the catalogues or on their website anymore - Hydra-Radiance or something like that...Hydriance?? It was a really nice lightweight moisturiser which absorbed really quickly and no greasy feel. Their tinted moisturiser is really good too for fair skin because it's not too dark like some of them can be. And the lip balm with sunscreen in it is really good - has been great for re-conditioning my lips over the winter since I got it. :)

Love Avon though I don't buy heaps of stuff. I am however addicted to their bronzing beads. I have kinda tan skin so it works well with me. I have the linen spray too but that was given by my BF's mum. I don't use any lipstick they are to heavy for me but do wear their tinted glosses. I am currently waiting for my new order of the Avon Mineral Foundation to come in. I have been wanting to try mineral foundation for ages so I finally got my chance and for a reasonable price too. Oh yeah I also love Avon mascara.

I get my perfume from Myer but that's because you need to try on perfume to know if it suits you, they all smell subtly different on peoples skin so I don't like to order that by catalogue. They do good deoderants though!

Hmmmm, reading back on that maybe I do buy heaps... just not that often. LMAO

LMAO I'm more of a Lancome fan. :D Actually BF has an Avon blokes perfume thats really nice though, he dosn't wear it anywhere near as often as they Myer ones but when we got it we were pleasantly surprised!

Their products have improved so much over the last five years.

I used to buy avon years ago.....its always a pretty good price and the specials they have are fantastic.

Yes i use Avon, i really like the Mascara, & the face moisturiser with the sunscreen i use the spray on moisturiser all the time & always get asked what perfume i have on because it smells lovely & people are always surprised when i tell them .i don't use their perfumes though because i have my own fav's
I do think it's good value for money to, oh & i really like their hand creams & deodorants & that stuff for rough feet

Yeah maybe Cherie, I havent really tried that much of their face stuff really in terms of it being my skin type, i tried some deodorants and moisturisers, nail polish, lip sticks etc oh and shower stuff, i just wasnt wowed with it and arent a catologue and wait for it type of person, i like being able to go and buy in person and not fuss around with sales consultants :P It may just be my shopping scars from buying mary kay previously though lol

Oh I was a big fan of MK too when I was in my 30's...It was exy though, but I liked it. :)

Yeah i liked it but yup definately exy, and i just got to hate needing something and having to organise to get it, im also a bit of a leave till the tube or whatever runs out and then need some more pronto no i cant wait kinda girl. I actually really like maybelline makeup at the mo, especially the mineral stuff, its cheap its everywhere and it wears well, and loreal lippies.

I had some Avon moisturiser last year and really liked it but then my MIL became a nutrimetics consultant so now I just get nutrimetic moisturiser from her for birthdays/christmas which keeps me in stock..

i was just talking about MK at work today too. :yes: my co-worker's friend does that for a living! if i can do that for a living and do it from home, i'd do it too! :)

I love Avon. I get my gear through a close friend, and you get what you ordered, before you pay. I ordered a gorgous satin top 3 weeks ago. I wore it out saturday night and got a few apraisals how lovely it was.

I haven't bought anything recently, but from what I remeber their Anew skincare range was quite good. I used to use the moisturizer. Also at one time they had this cream which was full of vitamin C that did wonders for my skin.

I buy Avon on a regular basis d.d. likes their perfumes and I like some of their moisturisers, nail polishes and lipsticks swear by their liquid concealer not fond of their liquid makeup or face powders in the compact.

I love Avon, a friend sells it. Currently I love the Ultimate Day and Night Creams.
I have also bought quite a few of their shoes and they are great.
