I used to love going to the drive in. I think the last time we went was when Tyler was only a baby. I remember giving him his bottle in the back seat :Hehe:

It's just dvd's at home now :)

I used to love the drive in as a child but I prefer going to the cinema given the choice - I like the darkness where you can just relax and chill out for a couple of hours. It seems to reenergise me and whatever was worrying me before I went in just doesnt seem as important afterwards.

Oooooh yes I'm with Michelle, you can just tune out at the cinema its bliss, but no cash and no babysitter has confined me to home with dvds. Although for the most part I don't mind, I get this dvd lady that comes round every saturday and I can hire movies for the week. So much easier then taking a cranky child to the video store

I loved going to the drive-in but we don't have them in our area anymore. DVDs are nice cause you can watch them in bed if you want.

I remember going to drive in's as a kid but they don't have them around anymore. I like both going to the cinema and dvds. It's nice to escape to the cinema and watch a movie in the dark on a big screen. And it's nice to relax at home with a dvd and stop it if you need to. I also like the extras that a dvd has.

I remember when videos first came out - there used to be those video vans. We had a guy come around once a week with his van of videos. They almost looked like the book vans that used to come to school. We used to think it was awesome. We'd all hop in & choose one each. Haven't heard of a dvd one though.

Oh there's a few that do my area, Road Runner which has dvds and video's and Home Entertainment Express, the one I get she doesn dvds and ps2 and xbox games, they also hire out the actual consoles to but it's really expensive. It's $7 for one dvd or game and you get it for a week. And some are new releases too just came out on dvd

I loved the drive ins too when they were around. I enjoy going to the movies now and then but usually for us its a dvd at home on the couch :)
