I love Tim Tams!

Alexa brought me 3 packages of Tim Tams. Now I know why you all love them so much! I have 2 original and 1 double coated. I have only eaten the original.

Ok. so there is only 12 in a package, my question is how long does a package last everyone?

Because my husband has tried them to and is trying to sneek them now..like I wont notice. He said he loves Tim Tams and I told them, they are mine, and they are like gold and to keep his hands off and stick to his chocolate chip cookies.

I know it is a bit greedy, but he really doesn't care wha he eats. I appreciate them and I don't think her really appreciates how amazing they are.

He just likes them because they are sweet, and chocolate.

But they are rare..we don't sell these here.

When we were leaving Australia, a boy at the airport had a whole plastic container of Tim Tams. I remember we where like..WTH does he have all those for?

WEll now we know!

You all cant say you only eat one a day, I just wouldb't believe you.. They are way to goo.

I think I will take one cookie to my mom and stepdad so they can try it..

Yah just one, they can split it..lol

Oh and they were in my car for a few hours becuase we drove all over town and they melted a little, but it was so good, I like it melted!

Grammy Jo, I don't even know what to compare them to, we dont have anything like them here in the US. At least not on the West Coast.

The chocolate is so different than ours, and I have had my share of chocolate. It is like it is smoother and silkier.

It is like a mini Barnone but we dont have them anymore.

2 chocolate waffers with chocolate in the middle and then dipped in chocolate

Alexa didn't show me how to suck out the middle. She is not a coffee drinker and I opened them after I was home..

I am not much of a dipper because I don't like stuff in the bottom of my coffee or tea.

But they were so good melted.

I can't believe Alexa only took three packets. Did she bring dark choc? She should have taken one packet of each flavour, Tell hubby to go jump they are yours. Enjoy them Gina and mine only last 1 hour if I'm home alone(no joke)

The ones that melted in the package, only 3. The chocolate got on the sides of the plastic and I was scraping it out with my finger, then i put them in the fridge and the chocolate hardened to I could scrape it out..

Ok I called the 800# and spoke to the owner, she is Australia nad moved here 20 years ago from Canberra and decided to open a store and sell Australian items. HSe goes over to Australia and then has has then shipped to her store or brings them over.

I am just so amazed, Arkansas isnt a place I would think would have this.. California, Washington or New York maybe..

Still for some reason it doesn't seem right to get it unless it came from AU directly..

I took mine out of the refridgerator so I can have them at room temp when I dip them.

The Lady over the phone told me that we put wax in our chocolate that is why it is not as good as yours.

She said she had Cadbury in the US and in AU and could not understand why the US did not taste as good. That is why,.. I am so grossed out on out chocolate now.

Ok I made a cappucino and dipped my room temp Tim Tam in it.. the chocolate melted and I took a bite.. I was sooo good.. I dipped it again so it can get the insides..

Jo I prefer original for dunking. But the double coat are good if you have really hot coffee, the double coat takes longer to melt through.

:D :D I just ate two tim tams right before I came onto this site!!! A packet only lasts a couple of days in our house, so we try not to buy them very often or we will start putting on weight!!!
My husband and I travelled through the USA about ten years ago for about five months and then flew to London. There was a desperate frenzy when we landed to find some chocolate biscuits and a great cup of tea !!! The two things we really missed !!!
I can't believe that of all the places in the world the USA doesn't have a supermarket aisle full of chocky biscuits like we do!!!

Magnums, eskimo pies, cherry ripes, crunchies, turkish delights, every cadbury bar ever made!!!

On our trip to the US of A we went to Philadelphia ( we worked as nanny's there and my husband was a outdoor and rock climbing instructor at one of the summer camps), then onto New York, Boston, Providence (for our first real halloween), Niagra Falls,Orlando to do Disney world, Seattle ( which we loved and we found a crumpet shop there and they sold vegemite too!), stayed with friends in Bellingham,then onto Vancouver and Victoria, then England, Ireland and Wales!!! It was a six month back packing extravaganza with not much money and we had the trip of a lifetime!!!
