It's a remington and I bought it at a local Trader (so it is second hand). But it looks like it was only used once. The plastic film was still on it as well.
Absolute bargain!! I got the book with it as well & it has heaps of different bread recipies so I might put a few up in the cook book section later :)
I was looking at them on Ebay but they were too expensive & I was outbid a few times (or I'd forget).

We have a Breville Bakers Oven - not quite as cheap as yours Barbara but was under $100. They are great aren't they? Haven't had to buy bread for a couple of years!

What a bargain Barbar, and your first load looks yummo!
I don't even know where mine is, or if it still works :dk: Was one of those impulse buys. It was quite an expensive one and we only used it a handful of times
We have a bakery just over the road, so can get fresh bread over there. Go in the morning and it's still hot

Oh Mel, it cooked it so quick - it was great & I have the recipe book too so I might just need to buy some yeast when I go to the supermarket in case I need to make some 'special' bread for the boys or huhby. And the smell was to die for!!!! :d:
I've always wanted one Leigh but have just never bought one. Now that I have been making my own bread for a few months, I had reason to get one

Looks great Barbar..very similar to our one.
How did the bread taste....its a shame it sinks down a little on top when it cools..mine always does that too but at least it doesnt affect the taste.

Haven't tasted it yet but it should be no different in taste to when I usd to make it by hand. It might be a bit fluffier though (I'm not that good a kneading LOL)
We are having a Lamb casserole tonight so I'll let you know after that :)

Thats an idea Bev...have you looked into making your own gluten free bread products? Would it be cheaper as I know you have said some of the GF products are very expensive?
