Hmmm ok Gina you asked for it LOL. I have nearly any sauce imagineable, rice, pasta, flour, milk, vegies, cheese, umm I don't have much meat atm but I'll probably get some mince, snags, bacon and maybe some steak and chicken tomorrow

you can do a simple pasta and sauce, or get eggs and do scrambled eggs or omlette, or bacon and eggs for a bit more substance. Sausages and mashed potato (drool yum, might have this for dinner tonight here). Shepherds pie - I make it without a crust so it's basically a mince/vege mix topped with mashed potato. (I love mashed potato :P ). Pancakes, can get cheap packet mix, and then just put whatever on them, they are really quick to make. Toasted sandwiches with whatever filling you want (if you have spag bol or other mince left over, they make really yum toasted sandwiches)

Hmmmm what sort of edging can you put on shepards pie? Just plain puff pastry?

I dont put any, just the mince and topped with potato, covered with cheese and then in the oven to melt the cheese. I'm lazy though :P You could use puff or shortcrust I think.

Angie chicken legs are usually cheap and you can roast them or make apricot chicken or curried chicken...just add a can of Kantong or such...

I always buy a jar of spag sauce (about $1.45 depends where you go) and I always have pasta...so on an easy night I just cook up the pasta and add the sauce, and we usually have grated cheese in the freezer. It cheap and easy and filling.

Hmmmm I don't really have anything to roast chicken in. The only oven dishes I have are casserole ones or I have 2 glass pyrex ones, a little one and a big one

pyrex goes in the oven, you can use that - put the chicken and the jar of sauce with it, it will be fine. I love apricot chicken! Haven't had it for ages.
