I used to be exactly the same Leonie until I had my boys - then for some reason, I wanted it as rare as I could get it (not blue but close :yes: ) and now I send it back if it's overcooked LOL

I like mine well done.

Had it well done once at Hogs Breath and the thing was nearly burnt to cinders. Damien asked for medium to well done. And his was well done.
I hate it when you say well done though and you pick the steak up to make sure its well done and the blood runs of it. (I take it back and am always cranky when I have to).

They are all different aren't they. Some places consder rare to be blue and well done to be medium-well done. You can never get it exactly the way you like it.

I usually send it back if it isn't rare enough and they gret cranky with me saying well you should have said blue. If I say blue, it comes out like it hasn't even been cooked :eww:

Rare. I think its really the only way to enjoy a steak...plus cooking longer takes out more of the vitamins and nutrients. I love a marinated steak and I always like to eat it with A1.
