I use this receipe, it sooo yummy. :d:

1 cup plain four, 1 cup rolled oats, 3/4 cup coconut, 3/4 cup castor sugar, 125g butter, 1 tablespoon of golden syrup, 1 1/2 teaspoons bicarbonate soda, 2 table spoons boiling water.

1. Pre heat oven to 150 C. Brush 2 oven trays with melted butter or oil. Place flour, oats coconut and sugar in a bowl, stir until combined.
2. Combine butterand golden syrup in a small pan, stir over high heat until melted. Mix soda with boiling water, add to melted butter and syrup. Add to flour mixture, stir until combined.
3. Shape level tablespoons of mixture into balls and flatten slightly; place onto prepared trays, about 6cms apart.
4. Bake 15 - 20 minutes or until crisp and golden. Remove from oven, stand for 2 minutes. Loosen biscuits and cool on a wire rack.

No you mix them with the oats and stuff , they might melt a bit but they melt in the oven anyway...

I have actually had these. I made them years ago. It was in a cooking magazine I bought.

It is a little different than Angies receipe. So I will have to try hers so I can have Authentic Anzac's

This recipe had flour, oats, brown sugar, coconut, baking soda, butter, water, golden cane syrup,

I loved how chewy they were.
