OK this isn't a real recipe...I made it up yesterday. I bought custard powder and the kids dont like it so...
Ingredients:
2 sheets puff pastry
5 table spoons of custard powder
2 table spoons of sugar
4 cups of milk
Method:
1. put pastry sheets on bikkie trays and bake in oven. (put them on baking paper so they are easy to transfer.
2. put all other ingredients into saucepan on high heat, whisk til smooth.
3. Whisk continually til custard has thickened
4. Take pastry out of oven when ready and transfer to dish with his sides (make sure it all fits before you bake the pastry)
5. Pour smooth custard over first sheet, cover with second.
6. refridgerate.
When it has cooled cover with icing. I used vanilla with pink food colour but you can use anything. And I spinkled with sprinkles so it looked pretty.
And so the kids eat custard...:D
