Okie dokie Patricia was telling me I can make fruit in pastry thingys with milk and sugar on top, I have made ones with tinned fruit but I couldn't find apples to make them with, tinned apples I mean. How would I make it with real apples? I have a few red ones I can try it with, any help please

I am not sure what you are making, but our red apples are way to mushy to cook with.. we use granny smith for pies..

But I want what ever you make so fed ex it please....

It shouldn't make any difference really so long as you peel & thinly slice the apples, they will be fine :)

Edited to say you can pop them in the microwave first to soften them if you want.

I use any apples to cook with, just peel, core and cut them up. Put them in a saucepan with sugar (and a bit of water if you want) put the lid on the saucepan and cook on about a medium heat...

If your making stewed apples to have with pastry I wouldn't add water but make sure they dont burn.

When they are cooked I beat them with the wooden spoon (yep pretend its a kid). And they are ready...:d:

Oh hmmmm that sounds like it would take ages Teena LOL I like Barbara's idea better. They'd cook alright if they are just cut thinly? and in the pastry

Yes they will if you slice them nice and thinly Angie :)
