Blue Tooth

OK can anyone give me a quick rundown on Blue tooth...Summer's phone has it but we dont quite understand how it can be used to connect to the computer wirelessly...

Does the computer need the blue tooth chip as well?

hubby had a blue tooth ages ago could never work the bloody thing and couldn't find anyone who could, the ear piece thingy never worked either he ended up getting another phone sorry couldn't be of any help

yeah Summer's phone is real easy for her to use and yesterday she bought a memory card for it like you get for digital cameras...but she wants to transfer the photos she already had in her phone...and it says she should be able to do it 'cause her phone has the chip in it...but we cant figure it out...

do you have to marry the phone and coputor together? it should have come with some soft ware

No it came with nothing...just the phone...I think...dont know I'll have to ask her when she gets home from work...

You will need a Bluetooth dongle so that your puter can received the signal from the phone, you can pick them up on eBay fairly cheaply.

yeah you can only use blue tooth with something else that has blue tooth.

Thanks I'll check them out...I dont really want all her photos clogging up my computer....
