What can I buy to flavour milk so I drink it more? I'm not into quick thats a bit gross but I am going to get some milo. I just made a hot chocolate and OMD :d: I found some malt powder in the cupboard too but can I just add that to milk? What does it do? And taste like? Is there anything else I can put in milk?

ice cream toppings like strawberry, chocolate or caramel etc are good for flavouring milk.

Malt...I eat it out of the tin!...well I use to...too bloody dear now I dont even buy it...The kids use ice cream topping...saves me buying topping AND milk flavouring...

It makes you put on weight? Wow I got it cause Ty used to get all um un pooey on formula and malt helped him so I'd add a little to his bottles til he was better. Now well he's ok now so I have a heap left. What does it taste like?

Malt is a weight putter onner but it's yummy. Yet another thing I can't eat. We use to have it on ice cream as kids.
It's nice in a milkshake too.

Ok have been thinking about this and knew I had something important to add but couldnt remember..now I have :P
When I was pregnant my g/mother used to say ..pity you dont like milk as I would make you lots of custard and lovely junket. Apparently junket is really delicious if you like dairy..and you buy these little things called junket tablets in the dessert aisle in the supermarket (near long life custards and things)..think you just whip them up with whole fat milk..and enjoy!
Ok another one is flummery..will find you a recipe..all of these are very good for the boys too and I would be very surprised if they didnt love them and wolf them down like nobodies business :P

Angie, I am not a Dr or anything but I dont think you are suppose to be drinking caffine or having chocolate while you are prego. I know we arent here..
Anyhow.
I was going to say vanilla would be good..
Too bad you dont have a blender..
I am not a milk drinker at all, I have to put malted ovaltine in it. or make shakes.
We have Quick strawberry, do you like strawberry milk?

God their is so much you aren't allowed to eat and stuff when you are pregnant...I think you need to let your body and your baby let you know what is alright...apart from smokes and alcohol that is...
You can pick up blender's pretty cheaply now so when you can grab one & add things like banana & honey to milk, or fresh strawberries with a bit of cream or icecream.......:d:

i agree telori! we're expected to wrap ourselves in cotton wool, yet not complain in the process .. i have always found junkett daunting, so i got the poweder ones, you just add 500-700mls of cold milk, whisk/blend until thickened and then bung in the fridge .. within 20mins you have a yummy desert! they're usually with the jellies. my kids love them!
if you find milk a struggle, get one of the ones with added folate and calcium and try to have 600ml a day .. or you could simply take a calcium supliment. ask your dr.
