I was just in the movie thread and it made me think of the old Monty Python movies...Did anyone watch them? I was an avid fan!...they were so stupid and funny!!!!
The girls have been watching Faulty Towers on the weekends and I'm thinking of hiring a couple of Monty Python movies 'cause they think John Cleese is hilarious.....Do you think they are too young? Gem is only 13.....Summer is nearly 15...and it's not like they haven't heard swearing before....they listen to M&M after all...

Faulty Towers is hilarious - my boys love watching it as well
And I love Monty Python movies too
I love faulty towers and if it was on I would let the kids watch, they would just laugh at the funny stuff that manuel and basil get up to,you don't have to understand to laugh at people. Sally and Rose love I Love Lucy and laverne and shirly

I think all the Monty Python stuff is great. I loved the movies and the TV series....there are so many classics ...but the parrot sketch, the wink wink nudge nudge sketch, and the lumberjack song from Monty Python at the Hollywood Bowl are some of my favourites. My 15 year old loves Monty Python.
Its so great to hear that kids today are enjoying such classics. I grew up watching Python films in the 70s and boy did they make me cackle. Life of Brian is still one of my all time favourite films ever.
And no Telori - I dont think yours are too young for it. It just means they will grow up with an intelligent sense of humour !!!!

My TT grew up listening to Monty Python....on tapes in the car.....videos and now we have replaced the complete collection with DVD's. He used to go to sleep listening to them from about 8 years onwards.
By the way Di..........the parrot was not dead, it was a Norweigan Blue that was sleeping.
