this movie is very graphic, both with killing and with drug use. it's about the life of arms dealer Yuri Olav (sp), from his first sale of a gun to his losing his family and being disowned by his parents. it's a tragic revelation into the plight of countries who are held victim by their own govt or by other countries hell bent on destroying them. it's also a rather daunting view of the western culture and americas views on gun running. did i learn anything? i dont think so, while i really like nicolas cage, i didnt particularly like him in this. it seemed to drag on forever and i was bored by the time it ended. i will admit, i was saddened by the realities of watching children be slaughtered and the wife really grated on me .. this wont be a film for everyone, but i think it's a mans movie .. anyhow, i gave it 5/10.
