Trev was just playing a Warren Zevon album and made me think how much I enjoy this album and why didn't I play it more.
It seems my taste in music is late 70's and 80's and I haven't moved with the times. I can to the realisation today that I am middle aged!!!!
U2 are my all time faves.
Anyone else?

Who on earth is Warren Zevon??
I don't really have favourites..Just what every I like at the time. I have liked and listen to a lot of Eminem. Other than that, it's what ever is on the radio, or music channel. EXCEPT for the bra song, that woman should be shot!

I love all classical music and most modern too, excluding rap that is!!! Yucky poo!!
Over the years I have had many favourites, Simon & Garfunkel of course to name one.
Dire Strait's "Coming Home"; ( Theme song for the film, "Local Hero" my all time favourite), Fleetwood Mac, ELO, John Farnham, Matchbox 20 to name a few of the groups that I really enjoy their music..
I do love the music from the Group "Counting Crows", "Accidentally in Love" is a tune I am humming at the moment, think it is a catchy cheery tune..

Ok now none of you are allowed to laugh...my favorite singer is Garth..yes the one and only Garth Brooks..yeehaa! Garth is a surefire cure for the blues and most of his songs make me want to get up and move my feet....Adam and Callum are both now rolling their eyes and going," Oh god not Garth again!"
Give him a try girls he will brighten your day.

Go Robbie, go Robbie :x I love Robbie Williams :x Don't care what style of music he sings, I love it :x
I actually like all sorts of music & would rather listen to music than watch TV. I have a few chill out cd's that I sometimes play while I work but also have different cd's such as Offspring, Eminem, Greenday & Black Eyed Peas just to name a few.
It all depends on my moods I suppose . . . . :Hehe:

Maria I really love Il Divo as well. No one else in the family likes them so I mainly only listen to them in the car as loud as it will go, has to be really loud. I have no idea what they are singing about in most of the songs but nearly all of them brings tears to my eyes. I'm going to see them in Perth in March at Kings Park, I think after their tour in the east, can't wait, a girlfriend of mine bought the tickets as a birthday present for me.

I think the list of bands i don't like would be shorter. I grew up listening to my mum and dad's music, so now I love a really wide range of music styles.
From Nat King Cole and Louis Armstrong to Neil Diamond and all 50's and 60's. Otis Redding, Sam Cooke. Then I love 70's and 80's (Duran Duran were my absolute fave). 90's were good and I even love most of what my 13 year old listens to. Modern stuff I love Guy Sebastian, Nickelback, Craig David etc etc etc.......Like I said, the list of stuff I DON'T like is much shorter... :)
p.s. R.I.P. Michael Hutchence.....You really are missed... ;(

I got given a Pete Murray and Madoona cd's for Xmas and they are good, I listen to anything and have a wide variety of cd's.
Santana is also good. I also have every Midnight Oil cd...for some reason I really like Peter Garrett...;)
