Do you buy name brand clothes? Or buy what ever looks good at the right price.
There is a woman at school that wears EVERYTHING billabong, quicksilver etc. You never see her wearing anything else. Not that I think anything is wrong with that, just makes you wonder how the hell one affords to dress like this every day of the week.
Since the kids came along we don't really buy name brand things much anymore. Shoes and Jake's t-shirts we do, but other than that it's what ever looks good and cheap.
I buy a lot of the kids clothes from Target, I quite like their clothes. Though they are not as cheap as they used to be, but ok if you get it on sale.
I'm the last person to get new clothes :( and very rarely buy anything new for myself, unless I have worn something out so much it needs replacing, or something new for going out. eBay is great for getting bits and peices here and there.

I went through a phase where I only wanted name brand clothes like billabong etc when i was 14 or 15 but now i couldnt care less! It annoys me to see that some people can ONLY buy name brands. I have a real problem with seeing a plain white top(or whatever) with a tiny tiny "billabong" written on it and you just know they spent like $60 on it, when you could get it for $10 with no brand! or quicksilver socks that cost $35!!!!! its just silly

I buy what looks good at the right price. The only things I splurge on as far as name brand is the kids shoes. Other than that, I buy on sale, even at op shops. The kids have some gorgeous Pumpkin Patch clothes we bought from the op shop - they didn't even look worn.

Dont always buy name brands unless there on special as normal prices are way too high. If we go to the Gold Coast we always go to Harbor Town and have a look, some times you can get some good things cheap. Plus always go to the factor out lets at Ashmore as there are a few surf wear out lets there. Last time we were there we go tee's for $20 plus shirts for $30.

I really couldn't care less what label clothes are, as long as I think they look nice on me and I certainly don't see the need to pay the ridiculous price that some brand name things are.
Years ago, surf brands like Billabong, Rusty, Ripcurl etc, were made from really good quality material and they did last a lot longer, but not sure if that is still the same now. When we lived at Coolum, we did tend to have a lot of surf branded stuff but that was when we were young and had no kids.
Probably shoes is about the only thing that I tend to go for brand names. I like Colorado shoes for casual wear and I currently have two pairs of those and I like Diana Ferrari for work. My last pair I wore pretty much everyday for a year and they are still going strong.

I am afraid that I am a no brands girl when it comes to clothes for Adam and myself, Callum is a whole different kettle of fish. Sadly I usually give in to him and buy the latest in clothes and accesories. Apparently having just the right pair of shoes is more important than life itself if you go to high school.

If I like it I buy it, don't care about labels. Who sees them anyway, labels are worn on the inside of your clothes. LOL

I went thru the phase during highschool too but really its overrated.
On the otherhand OH has tonnes of brand name clothes (usually his family buy it for him they are pretty well off) and its usually FCUK (which stands for french connection united kingdom). Some of the stuff he has I actually find a bit offensive but can't really tell his family not to buy it. For instance he has this black shirt with two cyber figures (a man and a woman obviously having sex) and it says,'Don't walk FCUK'. But there ya go... (they all found it hilarious but I"ve over it LOL).
