Hi..
Just had our second bub 3 weeks ago. And this time I want to really get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.
Can anyone tell me their success stories and what's your best way to loose weight around the classic places: Tum, Bum and Thigh?
The excess around my waist is so unbearable big that I still can't see my own c-section scar without pushing up those excess fat / loose skin.
Can Sit-up, lunges, squats, walking really do the trick?
Still looks like 4-month pregnant......:help:

Um 3 weeks is not long, I would be giving yourself a little more time to heal, I thought you had to wait about 6 weeks after a c section to do any physical activity?

I think Alexa has a point very early days yet,
then when it is a safe time , I guess the basic rules as for any weight loss program watch what you eat, smaller portions and exercise
I was one of those lucky ones I actually lost weight while pregnant
but I now breast feeding helps get your body back, when the baby suckles your tummy contracts , bit painful but worth it, Oh and I guess it benefits the baby to , but my reasons for breast feeding were purely selfish:hehe:
Don't be to hard on yourself yet, 3 weeks is so early
congrats on your new Bub :)

I wouldn't be too hard on yourself yet Alexsunshine. You shouldn't be doing too much, after your caesar anyway.
The trick after having babies is too eat properly, which is really hard, because most of the time, we are walking zombies, and are either too tired to eat, or eat anything which is easy....mainly chips and chocolate. (I am thinking of myself here) :hehe:
Give yourself another few weeks, and then start taking bubby for a little walk, and try to eat healthy :)
Congrats on your new baby :)

Breastfeeding works a treat but like the girls said 3 weeks is nothing considering it took 9 months to put it on :)

I just lost it naturally, with exercise and staying active.
I went from 8 stone to 12 stone with my three pregnancy's.
Cant be bothered changing it to metrics.lol but it was a lot.

3 weeks is early days but even so ... eating right and gentle exercise if you're up to it. Though, when I was breastfeeding, particularly early on, I was ravenous! It's hard to fit exercise in because while you are running around after kids and doing all the bits and pieces needed to keep a house running, it's actually hard to fit specific exercise in with small kids (eg, hard to find a gym with an appropriate creche, or not being able to leave the kids with someone, or not being able to walk/run at a pace for a good cardio workout when you've got a pram/toddler in hand as well).
Good on you for thinking this way ... I'm so unmotivated, I know what I need to do, just don't have the motivation to do it (and my youngest 'baby' is 3!).
Congratulations on your new baby :)

Hi, my way to get back pre-pregnancy shape was also breast feeding. It benefits mother and baby and i really enjoy that, but first three days was very difficult and painfull. Walking with my baby also helped a lot. But 3 weeks is very little, with me it took 7 month.
