Well I dug out our old Pie Magic and I'm making some beef (and hidden vege) pies for Hugo's dinner. Fingers crossed he eats it!

We'll be having chicken cacciatore with rice and veges, eventually, when DH gets home from work.

It was a gift ... we've used it twice including tonight :hehe: but it was a hit tonight so we'll use it again!

we ended up having snags with macaroni cheese.

I have always wondered what the Pie machines are like

mum gave us a purple pie machine for xmas last yr. It makes 2 pies and they are so yummy. You can be so creative with them. i think the are great value.

well as I finally went shopping yesterday, I made some salmon patties and had some steamed vegies, not very exciting but nice and healthy...feel so much better...had a orange later and one mint slice and a cup of tea with no sugar (which is hard)!!

tonight satay chicken with boiled rice

we're going to a friends house ... he's an older bachelor male and he just rang to let me know he was making 'toddler friendly' food so I don't need to bring food for Hugo with me. I thought that was lovely that he'd even think of that. (I don't mean we'll all be eating mush tonight :hehe: just that it will be straight-forward food that Hugo can eat too).

Thanks patric :) me too ... considering the small boy hasn't had a nap it could be a bit iffy, but we'll see how it goes :)

That is so thoughtful of your friend Naomi, sometimes I think these bachelor men are more considerate than husbands, my son is one he is 29 and he is so lovley to his sisters and he loves Briar to bits buys her little pressies and is beautiful to watch with the baby, but noway wants one himself:ots: sorry have a nice night:yes:
I am not cooking as I don't do Fridays, come to think of it I don't do any night cooking, amazing how long the gas last on the cooker:hehe:

Soup and Toast tonight. DF has his bucks night tomorrow night and ive got a charity dinner. So only want something nice and light tonight. Bit of a pig out tomorrow night instead.

We had toasted sandwiches tonight. Turkish bread, cheese, BBQ chicken, onion, garlic, mushroom, avacado, tomato.... into the sandwich press :d: was yummy

Think we will have Mexican beef in totilla wraps......yummy! Bought some small plum tomatos in Tesco yesterday they were fab (didn't last long DH and I had them devoured in minutes!)

last night we had hamburgers with the lot. tonight we are going to fit pizza in the budget(can't really but hubby wants it, he is sick so he gets a treat)

I hate meal times, ever since I got a new kitchen I havn't touched it, had to take my daughter to a party tonight ended up more than an hour there and back , so when I got home tea was over,thank god to Lamb chops (Yuk) and parsnip carrot and pumpkin(yuk) once I was a good cook when we lived on the farm but since living up here, Husband retired he kinda of took over and I guess I lost my place in the kitchen

Hello all...thought i'd join in :)

we had beef and bok choy stirfry with rice noodles for tea tonight. I'm not sure about tomorow yet though, maybe steak and salad.

I just got done with a long weekend of work so we are having nachos tonight. Meat, chips, cheese, sour cream, jalapenos, black olives, lettuce...all that yummy stuff!!!

just gnochi for us tonight. Hugo is having chicken and vegetable loaf and pasta. Hoping to sneak some veges into him that way. I'll give him some sauce to dip it in :eww: Glad it's him and not me.

Hmmm looks like chicken schzitzel (have never been able to spell that word:blush: ) with some mash & some steamed vegies.

Might even try to make some mushroom gravy to go with it.....:d: :d:

Well we had Stir fry vegies with chicken noodles. It was yummo. Summer is working so she will eat when she gets home, probably just toasted sanga or pie...Jaimee, Logan and Aiden had spaghetti...but Aiden ate most of our stir fry anyway.

Not really sure yet as our place looks like a bomb has hit it..we have no dining table and no lounge suite (all outside for the tiling tomorrow).

I think maybe I will make burgers for dinner..that way we can just sit on the bed and eat it while watching tv....lol what a bunch of slobs we are LMAO

Beef stew here been simmering since just before lunch & its sooo thick & rich. Smells divine. Bread is almost finished cooking........maybe I will just keep dipping the fresh bread in the pot after all DH is at work & DS wont eat it :hehe:

Oh god I am sooooooo. hungry after reading what you are all having:d: there is no one here but me, so no point cooking and setting the table and sitting all by myself, who will pass the salt;(
anyway not to sure about the gas top, was leaning a little to close into the nice dinner my hubby was cooking the other night, and now I am missing one eyebrow half a fringe and numerous eyelashes, my fault I should never have gone near the dam thing:P

We had roast chicken and potato bake, baby carrots and peas with gravy...but I cheated and bought it from Summer's work :hehe: And it was worth every cent.

We're having a late one ... chicken and salad wraps. DH is just putting Hugo to bed now and we'll organise it after that. (Hugo had porridge and yoghurt BUT he ate the whole lot! And he ate heaps at lunch too, YAY!)

no dinner, we had Mexican food for lunch at 11am and I was full all day. I didnt even have that much.

Just salsa, chips, guac, tortillas and one cheese enchilada. Oh and 3 margs on the rocks

We had pasta bolegnase (sp)...I didn't feel like long strings of spag last night so I used pasta...easier for the boys too and I didn't want to have to clean them up!...we ate after our baths last night...But I'd had it simmering for half the day, should have taken stuff out for the boys earlier...

taco salad is layered spicy chips, lettuce, tomato, olives, choice of chicken or hamburgar, onions, sour cream, taco sauce & shredded cheese. You layer how ever you want making several layers of the same item. That's just the basic recipe. It's like a taco only in salad form. It's good, fast & great for big parties.

Don't talk about dinner, I had the roast chicken and vegies all ready to cook and the electricity went off. It didn't come back on until 5.30 too dam late I thought, so we had "Catch what you can" and besides I was too exited about the new bubby to worry about cooking. So it will be roast chicken tomorrow night.
