Looking for some ideas for the pie maker. Last night I made a beef mince and vegetable filling which was nice.
I thought I might try chicken and creamed corn? What else can I try? Preferably something I can hide vegetables in for Hugo, and that is relatively healthy but tastes good too.

I did a chicken, creamed corn and cheese one the other night that was yummy. You can even use stirfrys as a filling, anything that isn't too runny is fine. Also tinned fruit can be used. Or chicken, brie or camenbert and mango.

You can also do a quiche filling if you wanted which is great for hiding grated vegies :)
I won a piemaker at a quiz night and it has become my best friend !!
I do a nice ham or bacon with pineapple and cream cheese one.
Also Chicken, cheese and asparagus.
And Chicken, brie (or camenbert), and corn.
Mince and vegies with a gravy made of vegemite and cornflour.
My favourite jaffle filling as a kid was apple, cheese, cinnamon and saltanas.
Purple Kitten - that Chicken cheese and mango sounds interesting - I must try it !
I also use fridge leftovers - so over the years I have chucked in leftover spaghetti bolognaise or rissotto, leftover shepards pie, leftover lemon chicken from the local chinese takeaway !!!!
Whoever invented the pie maker deserves a medal. And I love that you can use anything for the crust. I mostly use puff pastry, but have also used filo pastry or just bread.

My sister had a pie maker and use to put any kind of left overs in it. The pies would turn out great but I"ve never gotten around to buying one. The best one I tasted was just left over vegies...like in bubble and squeak, but cooked in the pastry in the pie maker and it was yummo.
