Omelette Maker

Does anyone have one & do they use it?

Although I don't mind cooking my omelettes in my skillet, somedays I wish I could just pop everything into an omelette maker & let it cook it for me :)

Barbara when I made one for lunch yesterday I was thinking the same thing an omlette maker would be easier.......I guess if you eat alot of them it would be worth while to get one. I reakon I will ask mum for one for my b'day. :hehe: it hubbies b'day on Sat I could buy him one :hehe:

I don't think we would use it enough..not too keen on omlettes ..but hubby is. I don't think they are very expensive though are they?

No they aren't really - about $50 but if you wait for a sale you can usually pick them up for around $40.

I have a very small fry pan (for the stove top) and one of the sausepan lids fit it. I make my omelettes in that. I only turn them at the end of cooking to brown the other side. We love them. I'm not sure about those omelette makers (are they the two little things like a sandwich maker?) they dont quite look like omelettes.

Apparently you can fit up to 3 eggs in each side so they must be pretty deep :yes:

I know which ones they are now. They are the half circle things with the lid? I wouldn't mind one of those either, would make some yummy omelettes without the hassle of them breaking up with too much filling.

I don't make omlettes...Matt is a chef! I know, lucky me! He uses this fancy schmancy omlette pan. He is such a snob when it comes to that stuff! :)However, I would DEFINITELY get one of those if he was not around. My friends have them and love them.
