Over the last few weeks I have had really itchy skin. Mainly on my legs, arms and chest and at first it was just during the eveings and i didnt notice a rash. Today when I got out of the bath I had a few little pimples on my breast and over a period of 10 minutes the pimples went away and were replaced by what looks like bloody spots under the skin, in a patch about the sieze of a 50 cent piece. It is sooo itchy at the moment and my upper amrs have just started to really itch aswell, almost feels as if they are burning.

Any ideas on what this could be? I am a little bit worried as I have been feeling a bit unwell lately, cant pin point whats wrong - just a bit under the weather. :(

Sounds like hives, at least the patchy description does. :hmm: Have you started any new medication lately? I seem to remember someone talking about starting Clomid but I can't remember who it was. If so I'd go back to the doctor....you might be having an adverse reaction to it. Still if you have been feeling unwell anyway, it would be best to see a GP to get it looked at, just in case it is something more nefarious.

Best to go to the doctor then J'et. Especially if you haven't started any new medication or come in contact with anything strange which would cause a rash or hives and you are feeling unwell with it.

I know it can be hard to get into a GP down there but the rash sounds unusual. It's not something I would sit on, given how long it has been there already. So off you go. :)

I just had a realistation that i am taking a new mediacation. Omeprazole for my acid reflux. I was only taking it occasionaly but I have been taking it everyday. I just went and got some allergy tablets and showed the pharmacist. So hopefully, thats what it is!

Oh, thankyou Cackle. I am not sure if I would rather the reflux or the rash :(

Maybe you can get something else for the reflux and not have to have either :-(

I hope you manage to get rid of the rash and get something else that works for the reflux, my DH has that and he uses Nexium , from the doc , have you tried that?

I used to be on Nexium for gastritis without any rashes/itchy.

Je't did you get to a GP?
