OK is is just me or do jeans do up on the opposite side now?...and no I dont mean at the back LMAO . I just went to do my jeans up and realised I was trying to do them from the opposite side...must be because my other jeans do up that way...

Maybe it depends on what country they are made in?...

You are not going crazy! Men's and women's clothing are done on opposite sides because women used to get dressed by others in olden times. (Well, at least people who had money!) So, women's button's, etc. are always opposite from men.

Although this is quite outdated, its still done this way. But, some companies are starting to do them both the same way. It just depends. :)

I hadn't really noticed but now that you mention it, my jeans that have the buttons on them do up on the opposite side to those with a zip :yes:

It used to be a male/female thing but I bought some new jeans the same brand as another pair I have and they do up on different sides (both are women's jeans) so I don't know...

My jeans have the zip the normal way for women but I've bought a couple of pairs of long pants that have the zip done up 'backwards'.
