HELP ladies, this may seem stupid and yeah I guess it is but thats me for ya :hehe: anyways when I was shopping today I brought a bi lo brand juice concentrate thingy that you put with water and make 2 litres, but OMG it is sooo sour, and I read the box afterwards and it says add sugar to taste, now my question is, can I use normal sugar? Or does it have to be something special? Its so sour I dont want to drink it as it is :(

If it says use sugar than I would think regular sugar is ok.

Woohoo awesome and now how do I add it? Just into the jug or when I have a glass? Cause wont the sugar sit on the bottom?

I think what I would do would be dissolve some sugar (just guess the amount) in some hot water and add it that way. Don't put too much sugar in to start off with just add it gradually until you get the right taste. There's no need to use a lot of hot water to dissolve the sugar in either.
Hope that helps.

I buy the BiLo concentrated juice but I've never got one that tastes sour Angie...I hope the one you bought is OK...Maybe check the date and take it back if it's out of date. We have never added sugar, infact we usually add more water.

Its not sour sour, just a bit tangy and just different to what I used to get I guess. I sometimes get the ones from coles which are yummo.

I had a glass before and put a little sugar in it and it was better, I dont think I'll put the sugar in the whole jug though, will just do it as I get a cup

I like the coles one, they are a bit sweet for me so I usually only 3/4 fill my glass and then top it up with a bit more water.

Cant help with the bilo one, but if it says add sugar just use normal sugar.

we got the woolies ones and the mildura ones until recently as the last couple I had didn't taste very nice but they were still in date. I don't like the coles ones they have a weird taste. I got so annoyed with these concentrates as some tasted really good and others were just blah. I didn't know about putting sugar in them though.
