We have been watching a dvd that we got from the UK. It is of a program that was shown on the BBC called Tales from the Green Valley.
I wasn't sure that I would enjoy it but it has me glued to the screen. It is the story of five modern day people living on and running a farm that is set back 400 years ago.
No power, refrigeration, machinery or chemicals...they have to grow and raise their own food...a real eye opener...they really had it hard in those days...especially the women.
For anyone interested I guess you could probably get it from the ABC shops over here...well worth a watch if you are interested in how people lived in years gone by. :)
