View Full Version : Do you cook all the meals at your place?

Or does your partner or do your kids take turns at making dinner now and then?

Every now and then Cal will get the cooking bug and happily turn out an edible meal. I am safe in the knowledge that when the time comes for him to leave home he will be more than able to cook himself a satisfying meal.

Adam too will cook dinner now and then..more likely on one of his days off...his best effort is probably a really yummy frittata that he does. Why is it that food always tastes better when somebody else does the cooking?

No, mostly DH cooks, and I help. I do cook sometimes and I do the groceries but he does most of the cooking. It's safer that way LMAO

LMAO because it actually does! My cooking is not what you'd call gourmet. Or even edible a lot of the time :hehe:

I have to do it whether I like it or not, I must admit a lot of the time I'm lazy especially if I'm really tired and had a big day :( like today but then I like to make up for it and we eat proper meals for a few days

If there is cooking to be done, I do it. I also do the clean up and shopping.

If I take Chris to the store than he will throw extra things in the cart.. like snacky foods.

He doesnt cook becuase he doesnt know how.. he BBQ's but anyone can do that:P

I do 99% of the cooking here, as I am here on my pat malone for most of the week.

Sometimes the bf will cook on the weekends, and it's usually a huge affair. He really gets into the mood. He opens a bottle of wine & puts music on. He does a little dance here and there:hehe: I love to sit and watch him in action:P

Oh, lordy, I have to admit that MATT does all the cooking! :) He's a chef and loves to cook and is fabulous! Everyonce in a while I will whip out an old family favorite for him to try. He is starting to learn to love my southern cooking.

Like last night...Chicken in White BBQ sauce...Delish! :) yaay for me!

 Hubby loves to cook, so we share it :hehe: Most of the time I get organised early so that I don't have to clean up the huge mess he makes !!

Why is it males make more mess than women when cooking ??????

LMAO...he sounds like my brother...he use to put on these lavish dinners on the weekends...3 courses or 4 courses depending on what he planned...it was great! But he wouldn't open wine it was beer....:hehe: and I was too young to drink back then anyway...I have pics of him somewhere all decked out in apron and kitchen a mess behind him....

I do all of the cooking.

Hubby likes cooking but I love cooking so even if he wanted to cook something, I'd probably muscle in and take over :hehe:

Oh to not have to cook would be BLISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

I'm going to start teaching my son to cook as soon as he's old enough to know the difference between hot and cold.. hahaha

At least he's already started helping with the dishes so that's something :P

Next..... washing I think... LMAO
