Does anyone have any tips for listing items? I have a boxful of items I want to sell (once the digicam is working!), and would like some tips please :)

TIA

I always list my items for 7 days to end on a Sunday night, had read somewhere that was the best time. Wether it's true or not, but does make sense. 10 day auctions annoy me, too long to wait
Good clear pictures, I won't look at an auction if there is no picture, and if the picture is very poor quality, that puts me off too.
I like to have nice looking auction, with a nice template. Well layed out with all the info people need (without going overboard)

Good luck, you will have to come and show us what your selling when you get them listed :)

I agree with everything Leigh's said but also thought of something else.

I get annoyed on EBAY if they don't list the exact postage costs, so I'd make sure you put all that information in.

Oh yes, forgot to mention that one. That annoys me too. As does over charging on postage x(

Measurements are also good to include, for things like shoes or other things that might be a strange size. A few times I have bought things that aren't the size that was stated.

I won't bid on anything that I feel the postage is unreasonable. Last night I was looking at some costume jewellery and there was a lovely necklace going for just $1 but they wanted $12 postage...no way was I paying that!!!

$12 postage is way too much for a necklace!!!

I was thinking of using the prepaid satchels from Australia Post... is this a good idea?
