Washing

How do you hang your washing on the line? I drive every one nuts...it must be done right. If you wear it on the top (of your body) you must hang it by the bottom and if you wear it on the bottom you must hang it by the top. Any one else as mad as me?

But yes, it is logical to us, that that is the way you would hang things on the line.

It varies - DH likes his t-shirts to be pegged under the arms, aparently they don't stretch so much.

Usually I just use the drier, though :blush:

Adding: I used to colour code my pegs... and have matching pegs on each garment!!

I hate it when DH helps with hanging out the washing because he doesn't do it 'right'. I hang teeshirts folded over the line otherwise I find the waist stretches, business shirts upside down, pants right way up and just use one peg in knickers/undies. And yes, I've been known to match pegs up.

When I do hang wahsing out (which isn't very often, in fact getting less and less) I hang the same as Naomi ..adding that I hang socks by the toes.

I peg share too, taking washing off the line is so much faster and easier ;)

I can't even remember the last time I used my clothesline, and I just got a brand new one...lol

I use my dryer for everything, or if they are quick-dry things, I just hang them inside the laundry on a hanger.

I find that things last much longer, using a dryer rather than hanging things out in the hot sun. Plus, I tend to do my washing at night, so I can't really go out in the dark and hang out my clothes.

When I did hang washing out though, I was known to colour code pegs to clothes...anal I know but it kept me happy.

I like to hang washing on the line as its smells so fresh. I always hang things together like towels in a row , then maybe undies, then shirt, pants and what ever Ive got. Hate double pegging as it takes longer to dry.

I guess with all my qwirky ways Im not as mad as I thought because yes I too hang my undies from just one peg Monty... ;)
