I love mine too Pam, I have mine on the bed all year round as it really helps me when I am out of remission, it helps with my muscle and joint pains. Adam hates them so I only have a single bed one on our queen size bed. Funny thing is on cold nights he seems to be on my side trying to hog the "lectrics". Typical!

We use hot water bottles. I'm a bit of a scaredy cat with electric blankets, even though I know statistically they are safe I still worry. On the odd occasion when we've stayed somewhere with electric blankets, I do love the feeling of hopping into a toasty warm bed, but I still can't bring myself to use them at home.

I'd love a warm bed to climb in to - but I've heard you have to keep the bed made if you have them! Too much like hard work for me ;) LMAO

I have one, but I don't think I used it last winter. This winter looks as if it's going to be a cold one, so I might put it on the next time I change the sheets.

I don't use flannelette sheets, and it can be a bit nippy to slide into ice cold sheets at night.

Not that I own an electric blanket, remember I live in tropical Townsville.

But when I have stayed at places who have them I am a bit like Naomi and a bit scared to use them. Usually I turn it on to warm the bed then when it's time to jump in, turn it off and unplug at the wall.

I have never used an electric blanket! So I don't know what I'm missing/not missing out heheh.

I use socks instead! I love the ones with the 'feet' on the bottom so you can walk around on the wooden floors and not slip over ;)

I have tried wearing socks to bed but no matter how cold I have been I always seem to take them off in the night..not sure what thats about. Thanks for the reminder I will just run off and put my electric blanket on to warm the bed before I go later.
