I had watched a few documentaries on this one always in the hope that they had learnt something new - it is good to hear that they still plug away at these crimes even after such a long period of time in order to catch who did it.

I was always suspicious of the whole thing and felt the parents were involved right from the start...still if i'm wrong i'm glad they got someone. As far as authorities chasing things up for so long, i was speaking to a friend in the australian federal police, who seems to think only the big publicised cases get followed up this far. Sad isn't it?

A very sad and strange case. I heard on the news the suspect was at the time a school teacher and a neighbour. Hope the family now find some peace.

I remember this case. It happened right before Christmas.
Hopefully he is the one & they will find out why.

Don't get too excited ladies...I have been following the news on this one and am not convinced this is the guy.

First of all, his ex-wife says they were in Alabama when she was killed and there is no way this guy could have killed her.

Second, it seems that everyone is saying this guy was totally obsessed with the case and has studied it immensely...makes me wonder if he is just sick in the head and making all of this up...

On the news here they are saying he has confessed...he accidently killed her by giving her too much 'knock out' stuff (cant remember what it's called at the moment)...allegedly he said he gave her that before he raped her...

What I want to know is if he killed her with an OD did he still rape her when she was dead...?

He was also in jail already on sexual assault charges on children, I think he needs to be bashed to death...whether he is found guilty of this one or not.

I agree with Caroline, waaaay too much info isn't solid, I dont think he done it, but yes he's definately crazy and may have studied it and made himself believe he did it.

For one, there was no drugs in JonBenet's blood work and it isnt clear she was raped, yes there were injuries but no semen was found or anything, plus with what Karr's wife is saying....
