Fashion Tips for Wedding...

I am going with Matt to a wedding next weekend. Its a mid-day wedding at 3:15 so its not really fancy...but also not totally casual. I bought this dress at JCrew yesterday...but its PINK instead of this green and there are tiny white polka dots if you can't see them. My question is...what color shoes should I wear...(see: I do not like white shoes, which I think is the first go-to)

I am no fashion expert I am afraid..but I think I would go with white sandals..to match in with the white dots on the pink dress.....you will look sooo cute!

just maybe a kind of pale gold colour or pale silvery colour...with matching bag?

Or you could get a pale pink to match the dress?

I too hate white shoes...even sneakers I am not wrapped in...

I would probably go with pewter or whatever it's called. Either that or get pink and if you don't like them, re-dye them a colour you like.

I don't wear white shoes often at all. I've got one pair that I got last year and I'm thinking of giving them to my sister because I've only worn them a couple of times. She loves them.

Love the dress. I would go with a pale pink almost a skin tone, or silver. Could you take your dress with you when you are looking at the shoes, then it would give you an idea what looks best with the dress. Post a pic when you decide.

Thank you, ladies! I think a silver would be great too...only four days to find the right shoe. I think pink will be harder to find but that would be SO cute! I just wish I didn't live in such a rural area...we barely have any shops to choose from!

Jo...I think the model is wearing skin tone flip flops...Would love to wear flip flops but have to wear dressier shoes to the wedding...

I was picturing skin tone low heeled sandals. Keeps it pretty and not overly casual. For dressier look I agree with silver or gold sandals.
