Does anyone has any of their saucepans/ frypans? They look heavy duty and good quality. I like them but don't know if they are worth the expense.

I buy my saucepans in a big box, cheaply (and after my recent thread I shall be off to buy some more  )
Cannot say I could justify spending that much on a pot (for me to burn LOL) But then that sort of thing isn't high on my must have list.

They are DEFINATELY worth the expense. I cannot afford one personally but I know a friend that has a few of their products and she just loves them. I have invested in a Scanpan saute pan and a Furi knife both of which I now cannot live without.

Sorry to derail the thread but I wanted to say that we just got a new second-hand one - does that make sense? - I have a problem though in that I cannot for the life of me work out how to put the bag into the holder and then back into the vacuum cleaner.

Firstly to the saucepans...no don't have any of that brand but I do have some Bessemerware one which are expensive too but they are very good quality and worth the money...so might we worth looking into.

Secondly the vacuum's, we just bought a new one, its a Vax maxim, 2200 watts and it is the best one I have ever had (especially for pet hair). We had a nilfisk before that and I ended up taking it back to the shop it was hopeless. Hope that helps you with your choice of a new one.:)

My mum bought me a Le Crueset (sp) casserole dish & I must say I absolutely LOVE it. Even when I burn dinner (which is a regular occurrence), all I need to do is soak it for half an hour & the crud comes off so easily.

Mum bought me a second one when we went to visit her in England. Anybody who's travelled overseas knows you have to keep your baggage weight to a minimum...so buying somebody a Le Crueset dish to cart back on a plane isn't practical. I ended up dumping it with my sister...hope mum never joins these forums as I didn't tell her I gave it away. LOL.
