We are getting two new additions to the family tomorrow. Two nanny goats that are in kid and due to have their babies in 2 - 4 weeks. I need ideas for names for these two new ladies. Any ideas? Keep in mind that we will need names for the babies when they arrive too so I would appreciate any suggestions please :)

Do you have themes or anything? A particular letter?

As an aside, we once looked after a nanny goat called Mia. She was the meanest tempered goat ever. I have never liked the name since then :)

No Naomi we dont have a theme or a letter...lol, we just seem to have the maddest names ever. Our other goats are Spirit (the mother) and Hildegarde (the son) but he usually gets Hildergarden tho..lol..told you..just crazy!

Ok have an up-date, Callum (remember he is a teenager..and a male one at that!) thinks maybe we should call one goat Gianna (from Big Brother) as because she is pregnant (the goat, not Gianna LOL) then she is sure to have big TEATS like Gianna...hmmmm the jury is out on that one!

Love it! (Gianna certainly is very ... roBust).

Actually, you could do a BB theme, and name the kids after other HMs ... Hotdogs? Geneva? (these aren't your run-of-the-mill names!)

I had a goat when I was young she was the best - her name was Mary - I love really short people names for animals like my sister has two budgies she called Troy and Tina!! I just think it sounds cool/funny with animals. So anyway I like names like Kate, Rose, Sara etc

The goats have arrived, they are not very friendly like our others but I suppose they will take some time to get used to us. Apparently they should have their babies within a month so that will be exciting. They are really lovely and bouncy when they are little and want to climb all the time, even onto their mother's back.

We (I) think we should go with the Big Brother theme and have christened them Gianna and Geneva, we then thought we could make them all be "G" names as well, so when the babies come we still have Gretel, Greg and Gordon from another series...were there any others? Will add a pic of them at a later date when they are more settled.
