He has been on the public hospital waiting list since Nov 2003, for a knee operation to cut out torn cartledge. We got a letter from the hospital about 3 weeks ago telling us that the op wouldn't be until Feb next year. Then we just got a phone call out of the blue yesterday saying it would be done this Monday.

Hubby is a bit sore and sorry this morning (I think those happy drugs have worn off). He just got a phone call from one of his good mates who hurt his leg at soccer on Sunday and he is on crutches for the week too.

Hubby took the bandages off today and is getting around quite well on his leg- seems to be healing well.
So I took the oppertunity today to spend most of the day in bed after my week of running around after him and the kids all being sick I think I deserved it .LOL

Hubby's knee is really good now he can even run on it ( something he hasn't been able to do for a couple of years now lol). he is back to playing indoor cricket ( he shouldn't be playing coz of his back- but thats a whole other story LOL).
And our household has been vomit free for a week tomorrow so hopefully the bug has gone now- and I have almost caught up on the huge amount of washing it caused LMAO
