What do you use? Have asked in forums before but am curious as ever hehe. At the moment I have changed Ash from Breeders Choice to this other organic one from the RSCPA but he is having the same issue - sneezing. Everytime he goes to do a number one or two he starts sneezing. So both BC and this must be too dusty for him. Don't want to go back to clay maybe I'll have to go back to crystals. What does your cat prefer?

We use Breeders Choice but I have heard of a wheat based litter that it apparently very good. Can't remember what it's called though ... I'll see if I can find the name of it somewhere.
Back again! It's called Wonderwheat. I've never used it but have read some good reviews around the place.

Wonderwheat is getting some positive comments. I think it tracks a little. Plus for some there are distribution difficulties.
I used to use Breeders Choice and but have been using crystals for the past two months or so. I like the idea of the crystals but I don't think the ferals like it as much. I'm sure it must hurt their paws being on that hard stuff. Have you ever walked on a piece of it with bare feet. Youch!
I've got three cats have have three poopie boxes so I might go back to two with crystals and one with Breeders choice.
I've used Max's in the past and it's ok except that it tracks a bit. Our local RSPCA sells it in 16kg (????) bags which is more economical than buying the boxes at supermarket but not necessarily as convenient to get to RCSPA to buy the stuff.

hehe wonderwheat all the way here... if we can't get hold of it though we resort back to max's (the rspca one) but find it isn't as easy to clean out the litter tray... i find that most litters track somewhat and just use a little dust broom to clean it up once a day before i clean the litter trays out... we have our litter trays in the bathroom and laundry so it makes it easy to clean up if some gets out of the litter tray itself.
we steered away from breeders choice because pippy had problems with the wet litter getting under her nails and festering up... another person had the same problem and i asked them what litter they were using... sure enough breeders choice.
we have used the litter crystals... we weren't huge fans of it and changed back after about 4-5 months using it... just found that will 2 cats that the cystals were too expensive for the time they lasted.

Thanks for your replies, I can't get a hold of Wonderwheat in Brissy here so I am thinking crystals are the way to go because all the others seem to have a 'dust' factor.
