The little piggy looks so cute.

We bought the kids a really old copy of the movie, and they just loved it and watched it over and over. Looks like it will be a great new version..unlike what they did you Charlie and the Chocolate factory :blink:

I taped an old version for the girls, they love it. The tape is ready for the bin but they won't let me chuck it :hehe: Glad the new one is comming :jump:

Yes I remember when they were filming parts of the scenes in Melbourne as they were looking for extras for the background. It is a nice story and bound to be popular with both the adults and the kids.

I am a fan of the book and original film and also a Dakota fan - I think she was perfectly cast !

I dont go to cinemas anymore - love the luxury of watching films at home without noisy children (or teens or adults !!!!) - so I will be awaiting the dvd release with childish excitement.

I loved Charlotte's Web when I was little! I had no idea that they were redoing it. And I love Dakota Fanning, too.

I liked the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It was more like the book....But I still like the old one with the weird kid, too!

I was a Charlottes Webb fan to when I was young. I watched the old cartoon movie with Jack about a month ago at Mum's and I howled!!!!LMAO

I finally went to see it with the kids last week. I loved it and I cried right through it:hehe: Dakota Fanning was excellent as Fern, I was a little disappointed that it didn't have any of the songs from the original in it tho. Think I might just have to buy a copy of the old one, ours went to God a few years ago from overuse and I really want to watch it again (and so does my 14yo DD:hehe: )

Would you believe I have never seen any Charlettes Web movies, I did read the book at school in about year 4. My daughter went to see the movie a few weeks ago she said it was ok. But she is a bit of sook and does not like sad movies even if it only has a little sad part in it and then a happy ending she still doesn't like it. Which makes life a little difficult as most movies have a sad moment in them don't they, even some comedies.
