LOL I'm hopeless at picking the sex of babies I usually go by the colour of clothing ( however this doesn't always work LMAO )or I say something like " and what is the name of this gorgeous baby" or something else neutral.lol.

And to answer your question I don't think he looks girly :)

Nope, he's gorgeous. A bit like my boys, when they were babies a lot of strangers thought they were girls - one woman even spent 5 mins arguing with me about it! LMAO

Naomi, Hugo looks like a baby, more boyish than girly. He just shouldn't be so darn cute looking though...LOL

I showed this picture to a friend this morning and asked her opinion on boy or girl- without telling her he was a boy- nad she said "a boy".

She also reminded me that when my eldest daughter was a baby everyone thought she was a boy (even when she was dressed in pink) coz she had hardly any hair until she was nearly 2 lol

I've just had a couple of "girl" comments lately, and people seem really surprised that he's a boy. When he was really little I didn't mind so much because he wore a lot of neutral colours (didn't know if he would be a boy or girl so we bought white/yellow etc) and it's hard to tell when they're newborns - but now he's a bit older, he always wears blue, boyish outfits and people STILL ask. I think he looks like a boy, personally.

He looks like a boy - well I thought he was a boy since I first saw the photo. I find that ppl have a little more tact these days, like, 'I have to ask, coz you can never be too sure these days......?' Things like that. And that is when Peter is wearing all blue and boyish clothes!! hehe. oh well, you get that.

Dont worry bout what he looks like - he looks like Hugo. If he is going to have gorgeous eyes (which he already has!!) when he gets older, all the better, I reckon!!

I have the same prob Naomi...Izzy always gets mistaken for a boy...even when she mosly wears pink!! One day i was out shopping and she was wearing jeans, pink socks, a pink shirt, a pink hat and a white bib and a lady said that he was gorgeous and i said (very politely) no she's a girl, Isabella, and the lady said to me well you never can tell these days especially when you dress her in blue jeans of course people will be mistaken!!???

I had no comment!! LOL I was speechless...

I used to get the same comments when dylan was a baby ....people would say "oh no hes too beautiful to be a boy" ....my reply was simple ..."what boys cant be "beautiful" too" that shut people up pretty quick.

My oldest Son Christopher used to get called a girl too, so I bought him one of those outfits that said "BOY!" all over it! You wouldn't believe it, a lady STILL said "Isn't SHE cute!!!" So, you can't win. :-D
