We moved Hugo to his own room when he was about 3 months old. He was (still is) a REALLY loud sleeper, grunts, cries in his sleep (not full on crying, just little noises occasionally), and a frequent waker besides. Before he moved to his own room, I used ear plugs with some success to block out the 'little' noises, and I could still hear him when he cried.

Can't help with the husband, sorry - mine snores too sometimes so I just give him a poke and he rolls over ;)

If hubby wasn't working 3 jobs, he could clean out poor Peters room ;)

We moved the other 2 out when they were about 3mths with out any dramas.

Junk was one of the reasons Katelyn stayed in with us so long, and then I didn't want to move her. She isn't a noisy sleeper so I wasn't in much of a hurry.

Can you give hubby a kick start to get his room cleaned out? You both could well be waking and Peter as well with noises etc.

I wear one ear plug of a night to go to sleep. I go to sleep on one side, one ear into the pillow, plug in the other. Nice and peaceful to go to sleep, but could still hear something if I needed to.

When the boys moved from a bassinette to a cot, they moved to their own room. That was around 3 months.

Can't help you with hubby - mine is really bad with snoring!!

Little Pete is only 3 1/2 months old and he is still in our room in the bassinette. We have his room all ready for him to go into, but just need some cot sheets for his cot. I think that I am putting off putting him into his own room as he is my last child and I want to keep him a baby for the rest of his life...LOL. Not possible, I know :( .

He isn't a noisy sleeper....just noisy when he is awake, with blowing raspberries and little screams, etc. As for Big Pete, he is a noisy sleeper and it's a wonder that he doesn't wake Little Pete up!! Although, he generally is only noisy on the couch, which is almost EVERY night!!! I just nudge him in bed and he rolls over.

Have you tried something to create "white noise" like a fountain? I have one of those chinese fountains that have water running, got it from BIG W. You'd think it'd be annoying but i've been sleeping a lot better since i bought one for Stu for christmas a couple of years back!
I also have to deal with the snoring, but find that kicking helps....doesn't stop the snoring but i sure feel better!!! LMAO
