Vegemite?

What kind of spread do you use?

I have vegemite on toast. And if I eat crackers I use Promite.

I don't mind the odd bit of Marmite either.

Has anyone tried to Dick Smith equivalent?

I prefer promite myself, kids don't like it so we just get vegemite. Sometimes if I am in the mood I will have it on tost with lots of butter, would never have it on a sandwhich or anything like that.

I love promite on toast- especially when I'm feeling unwell. Mostly my kids eat vegemite- probably coz they aren't allowed to eat "mums promite" :P (thats not just because I'm mean lol but I don't have it that often and the kids used to eat it all on me and when I was feeling sick and really needed it- it was all gone- So now their banned ;) )

I also love super crunchy peanut butter pillows ( when you get one slice of bread put the PB on really thick, fold it over eat off the crusts and squash all the edges together- Yummo) Yeah Yeah I know I'm a big kid LMAO

It depends on my mood. We buy vegemite as DH & the boys are hooked!

If we have home made jam, that's what I eat :D

Vegemite, only on toast. Don't really like the others (promite etc). Love peanut butter, don't mind honey or jam occasionally.

Vegemite, jam, honey, golden syrup. Everyone in the house has their favourites. I make my own jam too, so we use that a lot and also marmalade. I LOVE Bovril on toast, but guess not many others would like that. LMAO

My dad grows heaps of strawberries and makes lots of jam from them, I usually manage to con a few jars out of him too LOL Must be a dad thing ;)

Vegemite for me. I dont eat it often but if I'm having toast I'll have it. Could never swap to promite or anything like that :blush:

vegemite only, i remember my mum trying to trick us as kids, she'd buy something else and put it in a vegemite jar, but i would ALWAYS tell the difference!! :blush:
