Today i got a rabbit for the kids, so i was after any tips or advice etc that anyone may have?
Also i am open to name suggestions, its grey with darker grey on its ears and paws.
TIA
How's you little bunny Mandy? Sorry, I meant to reply to you the other day, but got side tracked. Have you decided on a name?
I had a bunny when I was a kid, named him Bugs lol  We put a little collar on him and attached a light chain to his hutch so he could enjoy a bit of "freedom". We'd move his hutch around the lawn lol it looked like the Aliens had come to visit tho, as Bugs nibbled perfect round circles in the lawn as far as his chain would go.
I did a search and found a piccy of me (taken 40 years ago :faint: ) with Bugs and Bingo my dog looking over my shoulder wishing he could have some Rabbit Pie!

No pet bunny's allowed up here in Qld tho ;(

Pam, you supermodel!
Mandy, I didn't see this thread before! How's the bunny? What's his name? How do the kids like him?
We couldn't get a rabbit, it would drive the cats insane I think.

hey ladies ....rabbit whom we named cuddles is doing fine ....about a week after we got her we decided to get her a guinea pig for some companionship when we are not around ......my son name the pig skinky pig (eekk was trying to get him to change his mind as it is a lilltle close to the word skanky) but unfortunalty it didnt last long .....i think it may have been sick to start with as it was always really quiet, never ran around or anything, not too sure if it died of its own accord or whether cuddles helped it by not letting it drink.
oh well i guess you get that. I told the kids it ran away, wasnt sure if telling them the truth was the best idea. .....I wanted to but their father didnt so i left it.
Bunny Rabbits are so cute...Like Pam I had one when I was a kid but we decided to free it and after a few months of freedom (living under the house)it just kinda went mad! It didn't want to come near us (unless we coaxed it for hours!). So I would advise you to keep it in its cage (at least at night!). :)

I've thought about getting a rabbit as well. Can they be trained to use kitty litter? :dk:
