a swede and a parsnip? Do they both resemble white carrots (does that make sense?)?

I think a parsnip is like a white carrot, and a swede is more like a radish...maybe?? LOL
I haven't had Swede sinse I was a kid, it's like as Leigh said, kinda huge radish looking vegie and more yellowish (from memory) than a parsnip. Parsnip looks like an albino carrot :) I love baked Parsnip.
Hmm, not much difference between a Turnip and a Swede is there. Turnips being more purplish. (I think)
