Does anyone own one?

I have been thinking about buying one. I wonder tho if it works out cheaper to make your own (and mine would probably taste like crap :Hehe: )
I just find it annoying they do not have flavours that I like at the supermarket, and not many of them are "real" type juices.

Cheaper to make your own juicer? LMAO Sorry, that's just how I read it.

I have often thought about buying one but they are rather expensive and I am currently trying to save money for when I am unemployed. I think Breville has the best one at the moment, it's really easy to use and to clean (the cleaning thing is really important because the older models can take you forever).

hey,
We've got a juicer at home and its probably been used less than 10 times in two years. They're horrible to clean too. I would definitely just stick to Boost juices. So much easier!

My mother's juicer is more than 10 years old and it does take forever to clean but the new ones (such as the Breville) as so easy. I'm sure it would work out cheaper in the long run to make your own juice.

(No semele, I am not making my own Juicer :P )

The idea behind buying one, was more to help with fruit and veg intake, than to just make juice.
Jake is terrible, and I have a lot of trouble getting him to eat more than peas, corn and carrots
He wants to eat more, now we are doing the whole healthy thing, but he says he hates it all. Mind you he has never tasted most of it
I am not too keen on the effort it takes to eat some stuff either. Took me 30mins to eat a mandarin, I don't like any of the skin bits :eww:

So I thought this way it would be much easier to get the daily intake of fruit and veg, without the hassle of having to actually eat it.

I bought one, used it for a couple of weeks, but the cost of fresh fruit is so hideously expensive when making your own juice. Its not like you juice 1 apple for a glass of juice, you juice about 4! Or a whole pineapple, or 3 oranges. Compared to a $5 bottle of juice a week, if you're on a budget, don't bother. PITA to clean as well.

Breville Juice Fountain, easy to use, pain in the butt to clean. They had them on special the other week for $99 (RRP $169). Certainly not cheaper to juice yourself than buying bottles of juice at shop. But you can make your own flavours and have that just squeezed taste. Convenient as long as you have the fruit at home.

Sunbeam are supposed to have a new juice out similar to Breville but heaps easier to clean.
